After finishing his college studies, Ben began working under Twenty First Artists as a solo singer-songwriter under the stagename Benedict. Currently writing and recording at Mind Motion Music Studios, a Demo EP of original material is set to be released in the summer of 2012 alongside art-houses videos through a collaboration with the production company Endless Media. Performances in 2011 have included supporting Alexandra Burke at the 'Sign Up, Speak Up, Save Lives' Charity Event in Covent Garden filmed for T4, touring with Ben Sommer's 'Avocado Chip Project' including a brand new music video and performances alongside artists such as Lemar, Tinchy Stryder, The Overtones, Jennifer Moore and The Sugababes.
Previously a member of the quirky folk-rock quartet Pandora's Box, Ben was lucky enough to perform at festivals such as Camp Bestival, Secret Garden Party, The Edinburgh Fringe Festival and the group were selected to receive a 'Brit Class Act Award' by Radio 1 DJ Rob da Bank. Ben also musically directed and appeared as Jamie in a 2010 Edinburgh Fringe Production of The Last Five Years as well as recently musically directing productions of Sweeney Todd and Spring Awakening.
Ben is thrilled to be working amongst such a talented group of cast and creatives on this exciting project!
